Practical Information

The conference will take place at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art on the south bank of the Tyne – a ‘vast converted mill with minimalist interiors, hosting temporary shows by contemporary artists’ housed in a converted industrial building, the mid-twentieth century BALTIC Flour Mills built on the former site of the nineteenth century Gateshead Iron Works.

Registration for the conference is via Newcastle University  and will be open in January 2016 on our website

The conference fee will include town walk on the 13 June, all sessions, includes coffee and lunch on the 14-15 June and the Reception at the University on the 14th, the conference dinner on the 15th, and one of two excursions on the 16th.

There will be a discounted fee for participants who present posters.
